Ed Harris pays tribute to friend George A Romero

The American-born filmmaker George A Romero, who created the genre-defining Living Dead movie franchise, has died at the age of 77.

Three-time Oscar-nominated actor Ed Harris told the Today programme it was "a joy" to work with Romero, describing him as a "big, beautiful, gregarious bear of a guy".

"He was a good friend. I miss him," he said.
