Stem cell doctor Robert Trossel struck off by GMC
A doctor who conned vulnerable patients with multiple sclerosis into spending thousands of pounds for unproven stem cell treatments, has been struck off the medical register.
The General Medical Council said Dr Robert Trossel had given his patients false hope and made exaggerated claims for pointless treatments.
The case came to light after a long running investigation by BBC's Newsnight programme.
