Foundation trusts warn they may not hit targets

One in six foundation trust hospitals in England are warning they may fail to hit waiting time targets this year.

They say they might not meet the NHS target for most patients to have operations within eighteen weeks of a request from their GP.

Similar numbers expressed concern about A&E waiting times.
