McDonald's adds calorie counts to UK menus

McDonald's will be publishing calorie information on the menus in all 1,200 of its UK restaurants as part of the government's "responsibility deal".

The US fast food chain began adding nutritional information to its menus and packaging worldwide in 2006, following criticism in the wake of the 2003 documentary Supersize Me.
