NHS 'is failing high-risk surgery patients'

More than half of high-risk patients undergoing surgery on the NHS do not receive good care - increasing the risk they will die.

That is according to a review of NHS hospitals in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, which says the findings paint a "disturbing" picture.
