Autism study claims signs can be detected earlier

Doctors say they may soon be able to diagnose autism at a much earlier age.

A study involving more than 100 children, published in the journal Current Biology, has identified differences in the brain waves of babies as young as six months.

Professor Tony Charman was one of the authors.
