The middlemen selling 'health tourists' access to GPs
The BBC's Panorama programme used an undercover operative to meet a middleman selling access to GPs' surgeries in west London.
Reporter Declan Lawn then posed as an immigrant who is not entitled to health care under the NHS to see how easy it was to get a GP's appointment - a crucial first step to accessing the health care system.
The first appointment cost him £200 and led to follow up tests at a local hospital.
