The Medical Director of NHS England, Sir Bruce Keogh, has said he is "puzzled" by comments from the former national director of heart disease, Professor Roger Boyle, that the unit is on the "edge of acceptability" and not somewhere he would send his own daughter.

Danny Savage reports.
