Care Association questions hidden camera surveillance

Hidden cameras and mystery-shopper tactics may form part of a revamped inspection regime for care homes and domiciliary care in England next year.

But Nadra Ahmed, chairwoman of the National Care Association, questioned the use of such surveillance.

"It's demonstrating the lack of trust in the care sector," she told the BBC.
