Call to ban smoking in NHS hospital grounds

Smoking should be banned in all NHS hospital grounds in England, according to the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence.

Most hospitals already have no smoking policies but struggle to enforce them.

The new guidance calls for a ban on smoking shelters and says staff should not help patients light up.
