Director resigned over cancer Colchester scandal
An executive director at Colchester Hospital has said that he resigned from his role at the hospital over the cancer waiting times scandal.
Finance director Mike Baker carried out a flawed inquiry last year over allegations that staff were bullied into changing patient records to meet government targets.
He said that he thinks now that he was not the right person to carry out the inquiry - and as a result handed in his resignation.
