Obesity in developing world quadruples

The number of overweight and obese adults in developing countries has almost quadrupled since 1980, a report from a UK think tank says.

The Overseas Development Institute says almost one billion people in developing nations are overweight, urging governments to do more to influence diets.

The report cites South Korea, where there are strong efforts to preserve the country's traditional diet, and Denmark, where unhealthy foods are heavily taxed, as good examples.
