Stafford NHS scandal: How much has changed one year on?

A year after the inquiry into serious failings at Mid Staffordshire NHS Trust, a study has found that hospitals in England are still struggling to balance financial pressures with the need to provide good quality care.

Robert Francis QC says the research reveals a general acceptance that quality needs to be given much greater priority.
