Labour call for NHS privatisation to be put on hold

Labour is calling for all contract negotiations between the NHS and private providers in England to be put on hold until after the general election.

The Shadow Health Secretary Andy Burnham claims there is a forced privatisation of the health service.

But the government insists its changes have allowed doctors to make key decisions on the provision of service.

Hugh Pym reports.
