East Surrey Hospital: 27 patients where we 'feel harm has occurred'

East Surrey Hospital Medical Director Des Holden said there were 27 patients which their external panel of consultants believe "harm has occurred" due to treatment they received by the urologist Paul Miller between 2006 and December 12013.

Around 1,200 cancer patients have been contacted by the hospital to let them know that their care has been reviewed.

Mr Miller was sacked by Surrey and Sussex Healthcare Trust and is now the subject of a formal investigation by the General Medical Council (GMC).
