'How cutting down on alcohol helped me lose 11 stone'

There are calls for more detailed labelling on alcoholic drinks after new research found that most people do not know the calorie content of a glass of wine or a pint of lager.

The Royal Society for Public Health says the changes could help people control their weight and choose their drinks more sensibly.

Brendan O'Donnell lost more than 11 stone after cutting down on alcoholic drinks and changing his diet.

He told BBC Breakfast it was easy to lose track of how much you consume through drink and that it can also encourage you to eat more.
