Mother who lost child after Caesarean plea ignored

A mother whose baby died five days after birth has told the Today programme that doctors ignored her pleas for a Caesarean after being advised by doctors after her first birth that she would need one.

Kristian Jaworski died in June 2015 as a result of brain damage during a "prolonged and extended instrumental delivery".

Tracey Taylor, Kristian's mother, told Nick Robinson she felt she was treated like an over-anxious woman "who was just too frightened to give birth”.
