'Vaginal mesh implants left me unable to have sex'

Hundreds of women in the UK are taking legal action over "barbaric" vaginal mesh implants.

Claire Cooper, who had the implants, mistakenly had a hysterectomy after doctors were unable to diagnose what was causing her pain and says she has been left unable to have sex.

She told the BBC's Victoria Derbyshire programme she was left feeling suicidal.

Watch the Victoria Derbyshire programme on weekdays between 09:00 and 11:00 on BBC Two and the BBC News Channel.
