Pioneering proton beam therapy for 10-year-old girl

Amelia Brome, aged 10, was diagnosed in January 2017 with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a soft tissue tumour is growing near her brain.

She received chemotherapy at Manchester Children’s Hospital in the UK before NHS funding allowed her to travel with to the US for proton beam therapy.
