The surprising causes of dementia

One in three cases of dementia could be prevented if more people looked after their brain health throughout life, according to an international study published in medical journal The Lancet.

Gill Livingston, professor of psychiatry of older people at University College London, explains on the Today programme why education, hearing loss and high blood pressure are key factors in developing the disease.
