The decline of Australian slang

Since the glory days of Australian slang in the 1960s and 1970s, the country's creative expressions have become less widely used.

As the new generation looks to borrow more phrases from abroad, fewer examples of Australia's famed vocabulary are being created.

The BBC's Jon Donnison reports.
