Growing up in a toxic town

Tatyana Movshevich grew up in the Soviet city of Dzerzhinsk, a centre for the production of toxic chemicals.

Neighbouring towns used to joke about its two-headed purple-skinned inhabitants. But what was it really like to grow up there?
