Johannes Kepler docks with ISS

The European Space Agency's space freighter Johannes Kepler has successfully docked with the International Space Station.

The fully automated cargo vehicle took just under an hour to complete the procedure, travelling at around half a metre per second in the final stages.

The 20-tonne ship is carrying food, fuel and equipment for the ISS, and will be used as a store cupboard by the crew.
