Nuclear recommended as cheapest energy for UK

Nuclear power is still the cheapest way to provide low-carbon energy for Britain according to government advisors.

A new report by the Committee on Climate Change is calling for around 14 new nuclear plants to be built by the end of the next decade.

It also suggests ministers should slow down plans to build more offshore wind farms, as Richard Black reports.
