Seed project to save British meadows launched
A project has been launched to help restore some of Britain's most vulnerable habitats.
Researchers from Kew's Millennium Seed Bank will work with commercial growers, conservation groups and landowners to recreate threatened wildflower meadows.
Seeds collected from native plant species will be grown on into larger stocks.
Science correspondent Daniel Boettcher met botanist Stephanie Miles to learn more about the project.
