GPS tag reveals cuckoo trails from UK

Their song is one of the traditional sounds of spring but each year, fewer and fewer cuckoos are returning to Britain.

To investigate this further, researchers have fitted five of the birds with satellite tags.

They hope to find out where the birds go, so they can consider ways to ensure they keep coming back.

Victoria Gill reports.
