Elephant and rhino poaching extinction threat

Protests have been held in over 100 cities across the world calling for an end to the trade of ivory and rhino horns.

Campaigners say elephants and rhinos could become extinct within 20 years at current rates of poaching.

Campaigners say poachers kill 35,000 elephants and 1,000 rhinos every year, despite strict limits on hunting.

The ivory and horns often end up being sold illegally in the East Asia.

Neha Bhatnagar reports.
