Seal found 17 miles inland recovers at wildlife sanctuary
A seal that was found 17 miles from the coast after swimming up the River Mersey has been moved to a wildlife sanctuary.
The animal was herded into a RSPCA trailer with brooms and fences.
Stephen Marsh from British Divers Marine Life Rescue Service gave Radio 4's Today programme more detail of the rescue.
