Dawn gets down to work at Ceres
The US space agency's Dawn mission to Ceres is about to enter its first science orbit at the dwarf planet.
The probe is currently manoeuvring itself to within 13,500km of the surface.
A colour map of Ceres assembled from pictures acquired on approach has just been released.
Dawn principal investigator Chris Russell describes what the map shows to our science correspondent Jonathan Amos.
