Astronaut shares 'burrito of awesomeness' aurora video

Nasa astronaut Jack Fischer has shared this aurora time-lapse footage from the International Space Station.

He described the clip as a "burrito of awesomeness smothered in awesome sauce".

Auroras, also known as the Northern Lights and Southern Lights, can be seen over polar regions.

The phenomenon occurs when electrically-charged particles from the Sun enter the Earth's atmosphere.
