Study suggests Facebook passwords too easy to work out

Facebook and other social network users are giving away clues to their online passwords, according to a new study.

CPP Group found that a third of Facebook profiles contain at least two pieces of personal information such as a mother's maiden name, date of birth or children's names.

This information is often used for passwords or answers to security questions for resetting account log-in details.

CPP's identity fraud specialist Danny Harrison spoke to Radio 5 live Morning Reports.
