'Super train' poised to overhaul Great Western tracks

A German high-tech engineering train will soon begin work on the electrification of the Great Western rail network.

The train is a self-contained unit which is capable of performing all the functions required to overhaul thousands of miles of tracks across the Thames Valley and the west of England.
