Picard: Religion and science 'not incompatible'

Rosalind Picard, a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, told HARDtalk that the process of creating robots helps us understand how human bodies work and makes her in awe of the complexity of human creation.

She denied that science and religion are incompatible, arguing that, although she agreed with the biology of evolution, science cannot answer questions about why we are here.
