Intel explores ways to match email emotions
Email is often considered an impersonal medium, with plenty of scope for misinterpretation and miscommunication.
But researchers at Intel are working try to raise awareness of people's communication style. The aim is to enhance emotional engagement between email recipients.
The BBC's Richard Taylor saw a demonstration of the project in San Francisco.
