Early hands-on with the Apple Watch

Watch: The BBC's Richard Taylor takes a look at Apple's new smartwatch, which was unveiled in California on Tuesday.

Technology giant Apple entered the smartwatch market on Tuesday, unveiling its first wearable at an event in California.

The Apple Watch runs apps, acts as a health and fitness tracker and communicates with the iPhone.

It features a bespoke interface, as well as a "digital crown" button, which allows for easy navigation.

The BBC's Richard Taylor was among the first to try the new device.
