The chair that assembles itself in water

Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) are examining the possibilities of self-assembly. They have already succeeded in creating models that can assemble themselves in a laboratory - so what are the future possibilities?

Could we one day see full-size furniture assembling itself?

BBC Click's Spencer Kelly spoke to MIT's director of the Self-Assembly Lab, Skylar Tibbits, and witnessed the reality of self-build.
