Mobile phone theft charge cap agreed

Mobile phone companies have agreed to prevent customers from being landed with massive bills if their devices are stolen.

The voluntary deal between EE, O2, Three, Virgin Media and Vodafone means that by September, there will be a cap of £100, provided the device is reported lost or stolen within 24 hours.
