Virtual reality set to make huge impact on everyday lives

Mark Bolas, who has worked in the field of virtual reality since the late 1980s, tells BBC technology correspondent Rory Cellan-Jones he cannot think of one area of people's lives which will not be affected by it in the future.

Rory tries out a virtual reality headset for himself and also learns how they are being used as a training tool for the US military.
