MWC 2016: Augmented reality creates car showroom

Virtual reality is one of the big stories of this year's Mobile World Congress.

But augmented reality (AR) - which superimposes graphics over the world around you, rather than closing you off in a completely virtual environment - is also making a splash.

One of the new AR apps at the tech show makes use of Google's Project Tango technology, which uses special vision sensors to help devices determine depth, motion and the layout of a surrounding space.

The BBC's technology correspondent Rory Cellan-Jones was given a test of the interactive car showroom software by its creator, the consultancy Accenture.
