Child heart op ban at John Radcliffe hospital
An independent report has found serious shortcomings at a children's heart surgery unit in Oxford.
Four children died at the John Radcliffe Hospital during a three month period between last December and February this year.
The report found that the surgeon at the heart of the crisis was poorly supervised and the equipment he was working with was out-dated.
Paediatric heart surgery at the hospital will remain suspended.
Fergus Walsh reports.
