Cloned meat 'no food safety concern' says FSA

An investigation is taking place to discover whether a farm in Nairn allowed meat from the offspring of a cloned cow to enter the human food chain.

Although some have expressed concern, chief of the Food Standards Agency (FSA) Tim Smith says he wants to emphasise that he does not think there should be any food safety concerns over meat that has derived from cloned animals.
