High-speed rail route compensation scheme launched
A compensation scheme for residents living near a planned high-speed rail line between London and Birmingham is being launched.
Anyone who urgently needs to sell their property, but is unable to because of the proposed route, will be able to ask the government to buy their home.
But there is concern that the criteria could be too strict, and that many people will miss out.
Richard Scott reports.
