Why thousands of street lights could be turned off to save money
Road safety campaigners have expressed concern over plans to turn off thousands of street lights, to save money.
Some councils across the UK are planning to switch off thousands of lights, because of concerns over the cost of keeping them on all night.
The chairman of the House of Commons Transport committee, Louise Ellman says lives could be put at risk by the move.
