Calls for curbs on 'compensation culture'
Councils which cancel events on health and safety grounds should be forced to write to people and explain their reasons, according to a new report ordered by the prime minister.
David Cameron asked the former Cabinet Minister Lord Young to look at the issue of the "compensation culture".
Lord Young has also suggested restricting the work of "no-win, no fee" personal injury lawyers.
