Chris Huhne on coalition deal for nuclear power
Chris Huhne says the government is pressing ahead with a range of power options as eight sites around England and Wales are identified as potentially suitable for building future nuclear power stations.
The energy secretary said the country needed a diverse energy mix with contributions from all sectors but with more emphasis on renewables such as wind power.
The Liberal Democrats have long opposed any new nuclear construction while the Conservatives are strong supporters.
