Airport checks of shoes and laptops 'redundant' says BA chairman
The chairman of British Airways has said some of the security checks faced by passengers are 'completely redundant' and should be scrapped.
Martin Broughton said people should no longer have to take off their shoes and get their laptops checked.
He has criticised the US for demanding measures on international flights which they don't impose on their own domestic routes.
