MI6 chief Sir John Sawers defends secrecy
In his first public speech, MI6 chief Sir John Sawers warned it was essential that the Secret Intelligence Service's secrets were protected if they were to continue protecting the country.
In a speech to the Society of Editors, he said "secrecy is not a dirty word" and played "a crucial part in keeping Britain safe and secure".
