7/7 inquest closed session request rejected

The coroner at the inquests into the deaths of the July the 7th bombing victims has ruled that secret intelligence material should be heard in public.

Lawyers for MI5 had argued that the evidence be heard in secret.

Lady Justice Hallett rejected that, saying she would not put national security at risk.
