Rail industry defends record on tackling overcrowding

The chief executive of the Association of Train Operating Companies says sixty per cent more people are using the network than they were 15 years ago.

Michael Roberts was responding to concerns that the problem of overcrowding on trains is going to get worse.

He told the BBC dealing with the problem was complicated.
