Soldier's brave story of recovery

Four years ago Lance Corporal Martyn Compton suffered appalling injuries in a roadside bomb attack in Afghanistan.

He had third degree burns to 70% of his body and spent three months in a coma.

Gruelling rehabilitation and reconstruction followed and now Martyn is married and about to become a father.

He is also helping other injured soldiers via the Household Cavalry Operational Casualties Fund.

Caroline Wyatt reports.
